Oh No.

I am already way over on my calories and there is still dinner to eat. This is disappointing at best, especially since this includes the calories subtracted for my anticipated yardwork tonight.

See, turning to food for comfort does not make things better, it makes things worse! How many times do I have to "learn" this?

I take comfort that this is just one day of many, but it still sucks. Oh well.

Now to decide whether to eat a normal dinner, or to try to not eat anything else at all. What would YOU do?

  1. I would eat a normal dinner and log all the calories in my diary. Trying to eat nothing would probably lead me to binge on snacky-type foods later, which would be worse than having dinner. Sometimes, it's not just one day at a time, it's one meal at a time. :)

  2. Oh, one of THOSE days...

I'm a big fan of starting over rightthisveryminute when I have a mess-up, so I would eat the normal dinner and move on. Just one of life's little hiccups, but it doesn't have to mean a complete derailment.

Not to mix metaphors or anything. :)

  3. I'd split the difference, personally - still have something, but make it on the light side Actually, I'm going to be doing that myself...exhausted after bad sleep & meetings, drove thru McD's for lunch! So I'm thinking about just a little something for dinner, salad w/chicken, prob'ly.

  4. This must be going around . . . it has happened to me quite a few times in the past few weeks :)

What works best for me is to continue to log everything, and eat something dinnerish, but on the light side.

    Hope today is better!
